sorry if this takes a while to load.
this was an idea for some future sinclair story i did on the back of a page to the new pop gun war graphic novel coming out from dark horse, whenever i finish the damn thing.

here is a bit of news,
this weekend i am going to be at staple, a small press show in austin, texas, (Saturday, March 5, 2005, 10am – 6pm). i don’t have a table but i will be wandering the floor trying not to make eye contact with the people behind the tables selling stuff.
i’ll be going down with some dudes in a sketch group here in tulsa i met off meetup.com

the in store date for Project Superior is 3/9. Spread the word to all who might care! project superior is a comic anthology from chris (editor/publisher) pitzer’s ad house books.

i have recently heard news that i have a french publisher! i love france. excellent. i’ll post more info about that later.

now here’s some venting.
why would fox give a show like arrested development a chance, then after garnering several prestigious awards for it, scale back an apparently successful and quality show? they claim there is going to be a third season but just in case they are liars maybe we can give this a chance.

i went to a show by myself recently. it was pretty ok but a little difficult for me to enjoy because of all the fratboy joe jockstrap types that showed up to hear one song and call each other faggots. ahhh tulsa, why do you suck so hard? but i knew what i was getting into by going to a place that was crowded full of annoying high school kids. i’m not saying that all high school kids are obnoxious but most of them ARE obnoxious in groups.
i dug the band alright, but a little too jam band-ish live i think. that’s just my opinion. i like them so much more listening to them in the privacy of my own little space. king’s of leon is going to be playing at cain’s ballroom
here in tulsa on march 9th. i wouldn’t mind going but i need some sort of crew to roll with i think.
geeze, what a miserable old man i am. i am getting a little stressed. my 33rd birthday is coming up soon. yikes, i have quite a bit of proverbial irons in the fire these days. nothing i can really talk about yet, but if everything comes together it will mean i will finally be out of this seemingly perpetual impoverished state.
yesterday i was just thinking about how the word “blow” when used in the context of cocaine always reminds me of that old HBO original series “first and ten”. that show from what i remember was a raunchy dramatic comedy program about new players and old pro’s on a (fictional) professional football team. i remember the program starred oj simpson who was playing a character much like his real life persona but cheating on his wife and stuff, (this all was way before that murder trial).
