so i will be attending the mocca art fest in new york city in about a week. it is always a great show. come on out if you can. i won’t be having any new stuff to sell but you could pick up some original art or one of the limited edition t-shirts i have left. while i am in new york my favorite bar/venue/record store/coffee shop, cake shop is putting on a party for the MOCCA fest, sat. june 10th. the
meathaus gang will be there as well as some other comic making folks hopefully. i’ll try to post another entry about this with more details before it happens but i am not making any promises.
cake shop is on 152 Ludlow in nyc (between stanton and rivington)

24seven features a who’s who of today’s best writers and artists from comics, film and animation, telling tales of robots in the city that never sleeps. In the vein of FLIGHT, these stories run a cross-genre gamut, from robot zombies to a prison break to a bizarre feud between a Siamese DJ team. 24seven has romance, action, horror…everything you want, all told by a cross-section of the most diverse writers and artists you’ll find on the printed page.”

so i am thinking i am probably moving to the austin, texas area in a few months or so. i visited a few months ago and drunkenly ran into these guys in a local bar. they all seem really decent and i look forward to talking to them some more and to other people into comics. there is not much of a cartoonist scene here in tulsa and i have felt a little deprived. anyone else in the austin area know of anything cool and interesting to a caroontist type let me know.
