hey anyone who may be accidentally or on purpose reading this, my book signing on first thursday at floating world comics went pretty swell. i met some cool new people and saw a lot of good friends. working on my book non-stop leaves me little time for socializing so it was a delightful treat to see so many excellent folks. thanks everyone who showed up and thanks floating world comics for hosting it. here is a pic from it.

thanks so much to the talented and cool studio jfish for the photo as well as these other great photos of the show the show is up until the end of the month. and i believe jason has few copies of both issues of the pop gun war preview to sell. stop in and get a copy. floating world comics, is located at 20 NW 5th Ave #101 i also have personal stash of issue 1 (the second edition) if anyone is interested. i made an option to buy issue one if you want to click on the paypal button thing. also i still have some issue twos to sell. so just scroll down if you want issue 2 or 1 or both. be sure to tell me in the paypal instructions if you want me to sketch in it.

i think the letterpress came out pretty cool. thanks to bruce at fortress letterpress for rocking that out. here’s a little sketch of gwen i did for my pal and excellent artist matt dicke, who was nice enough to scan it and send my way.

hey gang, this is a heads up about my show at floating world comics 6 to 10 pm tomorrow or today depending on when you reading this. either way it is on first thursday, June 3rd at floating world comics, 20 NW 5th Ave #101, in beautiful downtown portland, oregon.

i hope all you portland people can make it but i can understand if you don’t want to brave the rain. i don’t get out much myself these days. but it would be great to see everyone. it is the official book release party for the limited edition chain letter preview part two. so if you didn’t get to pick one up yet now is your opportunity! i will mostly have pages from the new pop gun war on display and some for sale with some wrenchies pages and other things i have been working on if anyone is curious as to what i have been up to hidden away in st. johns.

there will also be a few copies of a special re-printing of the first pgw:chain letter preview part 1 i did last year. please come to the show and i will draw in your book.
