free comic day. i swung by cosmic monkey comics today, and hung out with the awesome dudes there. i picked up some good stuff too.
look at this:

the guy who painted that, esao andrews, is having a show at roq larue gallery in seattle. the opening is this friday night, may 9th, 6-9pm i am definitely going to be there. if you are in the area come over.
i was over at the electrocomics excellent website today and saw
this gem by Amanda Vähämäki.

    yep, i am working on a book for first second called the wrenchies. won’t be out until about a year from now though. i have to chain myself to my desk again.

    yeah, i had a table in the back corner of that show. it was a nice well lit spot where i could quietly drink several beers. it was like my own little private getaway.
