  1. great stuff as always, Farel. i wish i could just go to new york for that Meathaus party, but i won’t be back there until next MoCCA.

i really like the wheel/hose/robot part in that kid on a bike sketch.

  2. nice! i am totally going to this.

any chance of snaking a sketch?

  3. Those are some superior drawings, even compared to your own stuff, Farel.

The kid with the coffee and guitar and the two space-folk are just blowing my mind.

    Thanks for sharing,

    -Ayo

  4. 25 Dec Drawings

Damn Farel, the new sketchbook pages are wonderful. The mechanical bird is incredible, as are those little panels inset among the free-floating drawings. Thanks for the holiday cheer. Rob

  5. Heh I took that picture, back in the day. Happy holidays, see you Friday!

  6. that’s the thing in there, and he’s naked. why dosen’t he have a dingus?

  7. Your sketches always make my day.

  8. i thought about you the other day! i was at philly’s punk rock flea market and spied some pop gun war issues in a bin of stuff on the floor! it turned out that the guy was giving them away (not enough room in his house, has the trade, his gf said it was time they go, along with a lot of other comics) so i took them! i only had the trade before and now i have 1-3.

anyway, merry christmas and happy new year and all that jazz.

  9. HAWT sketches mate!

  10. robotic crow! yes!

  11. yep

  12. oh yeah. thanks. that was a fun time. see you then.

  13. he’s a grower, not a shower

  14. Your drawings are so great. Aside from being just really well done, I think I like them so much because they remind me of cartoons and illustrations from a couple decades ago.. ( when i was a kid). It’s like i wanna see you do a comic version of the Sword in the Stone or something.
Great work Farel, thanks for sharing!

  15. “your drawings are so awesome.”

  16. i see, otherwise i thought maybe it was that other female character who became the thing and that we were seeing her jagged stone cameltoe

  17. Sketches

Hey Farel, nice drawings as always. I was posting some of my old sketches on me blogspot, and one of them ended up looking like a mean version of you. for the record I don’t think your mean.

  18. The Thing

  19. wrenchies looks pretty cool, can’t wait to see more of that. and i’m really looking forward to more pop gun war!
do you know if dc is ever going to put out trade paperbacks of caper?

  20. Omega Rules Me.

  21. wrenchies and pop gun war

hey Farel, it seems from your sketches that Wrenchies is finally coming together nicely. It will be interesting to see how Sherwood and his brother fit into the techno world of Wrenchies. I am looking forward to it. So with Wrenchies going full swing is Pop Gun War on permanent hiatus? Looking forward to more comics!- http://www.mattdicke.com
