It’s cool. Violence rules, guns are cool and we’ve got guns in our schools. Liek the Dead Milkmen told us.
I like your dynamic poses and I really love drawing what I would call sophisticated fantasy art. You need to work on your drapery, those fabric wrinkles are iffy.
Dude, these sketches just make my day. Thanks for posting them!
But it’s *ironic* violence, so it’s okay. Everything is acceptable when done from behind a veil of irony.
Also, wonderful sketches.
Very nice.
I like.
someday, sir, your sketchbook is going to be worth billions of dollars. If it isn’t already.
These are great! I love how even your sketches are just bursting with story potential — I could see any one of these images being turned into a full-blown comic.
Dope jams!
That’s beautiful stuff, I wish my sketchbook looked like that. How often do you draw in it?
Sweet!
There is nothing like a dose of Conan first thing in the morning. Your post made my day. I salute you, sir. Thanks for sharing.
awesome sketches dude, the violence is hilarious. your working on a marvel comic right? so it only makes sense that you’d be channeling lots of dynamic juvenile fantasy violence.
Re: Very nice.
Respect.
fantastic violent images, may i note!
Conan Schmonan
Farel, The drawings are really wonderful. Your figures move so effortlessly and the line work is jaw-droppingly good. I look forward to seeing more.
Cool stuff
digging the style
Hi, I’m a stranger. Just wanted to say that all your work is beautiful. I got Pop Gun War at last year’s comic con, and have been a fan since. May I add you as a friend?
I love seeing your doodles and sketches! And hey, you can’t complain because at least your sketch book isn’t filled with images of race cars and Iron Maiden’s Eddie. Violent it may be, but at least it’s intelligent! (Not that I have anything against Eddie, man.)I just recall that many blossoming male artists at my high school (back in the day during the 80s) seemed capable of only drawing the things I mentioned, among other iconic images. You don’t know me by the way. I’m just your friendly LJ stalker.
sure. thanks
i drew eddie for someone’s sketchbook once.
it depends. sometimes i go weeks without picking it up. lately i have been drawing in it everyday.
See what I mean? LOL!
my god lives under farels god
Or too few you big pair of wet ladys drawers.
YOur sketchbook pages have reached a new level of awesome
lately. I imagine the next comic I see of yours will be enough
to pop my internal organs. By Mitra ByCraom!!!
