  • the jet city comic show in seattle was great. thanks to everyone who bought stuff and came by our booth. i saw some old friends and met some cool new folks too, including matthew southworth who drew the very cool stumptown comic set in my own town of portland. in fact the opening scene shows the st. johns bridge which i can see from my back yard.
  • this weekend i will be attending the alternative press expo in the lovely city of san francisco. i am not in any of the programming or on their website since i decided to go at the last minute, but i will standing behind the pony club, booth #420 with Zack Soto and jfish and other excellent people.
  • i am all sold out of the reprint of the pop gun war issue #1 zine but i will have some of pgw:chain letter issue two on hand to sign and sell. please come by and get one or twelve. i will also be bringing a lot of original art there as well for various prices. and i will have some copies of the new papercutter: issue 14 to sign. papercutter publisher tugboat press will be at booth 248 selling them as well. if you still haven’t got a copy of that there is new ordering info on the tugboat press website.
  • also at ape will be robin mcconnel with his new ink studs book. in fact if you can’t make it ape and are in portland tonight, come on by floating world comics for the ink studs release. we will be there from 6-8
  • i wanted to give out a special thanks to markland of sleeping states for helping me out with this wordpress business and building my site from scratch.
  • as i mentioned before i have an etsy store now with original art and some other stuff for sale, like copies of an old comic i did in college, smith’s adventures in the supermundane. and for those of you waiting on orders i just sent out all of them today. so y’all should be getting them any minute.

  • one last thing i wanted to mention was new episodes of tim hamilton’s adventures of floating elephant are going up. it’s one of my favorite web comics.
